We are glad to share that in spite of the ongoing pandemic and various travel restrictions, we were able to run the Machine Learning School @UNIZA again this year – although we did it online.
From 13th Sept. until 17th Sept. the participants were once again able to learn about the fundaments of modern machine learning (ML) methods and to build up their practical ML skills in interactive sessions.

We are especially thankful that this year’s MLSS was organized jointly with the University of L’Aquilla and the University of Belgrade (our partners under the Erasmus+ project Teach4Edu) – the participants were therefore able to benefit from the experience of a wider spectrum of researchers.
Online, but Social
This year’s MLSS@UNIZA was special, because we were running online. However, we recognize that social interaction and collaboration form an important part of the overall summer school experience – that is all interactive sessions were run over Remo, where people were able to sit together in smaller groups, collaborate and interact.
